In addition, he has achieved an important streak in his last 5 games: 4 wins and 1 draw, so he arrives in tune, especially with the chilling figure of 10 goals in his last 4 league games. A serious candidate to win a trophy that he has not raised since the 2019/2020 season.

Regarding his participation in the continental tournamentthose led by Jurgen Klopp they have come a long but successful way to the semi-finals. In the group phase they were in first position with 18 units and entered the next phase together with Atlético de Madrid, leaving out Porto and AC Milan. In the round of 16 they defeated Inter Milan 2-0 on aggregate, while in the quarterfinals they eliminated Benfica by an overall score of 6-4.

They are one of the favorites to win the ‘Orejona’. It is not for nothing that it has world-renowned figures such as Mohammed Salah, Sadio Mane or the recent incorporation, louis diaz. For its part, the Spanish team lives a different reality in The Spanish league compared to the Champions League. And it is that in the Iberian tournament it is in seventh position with 52 points, 3 from the Europa League positions and 9 from the Champions League. However, the remaining four games allow him to continue dreaming for that quota.

Now in the international levelthe situation for those of Unai Emery is more than favorable. They finished second in group F after adding 10 points, 1 less than Manchester United and 4 more than Atalanta of Italy. However, in the following stages they gave the bombings: they left out nothing more and nothing less than Juventus (4-1) and Bayern Munich (2-1), facts that place them as the great surprise of the tournament.

The main architect is the Spanish strategist, who has given the ‘Yellow Submarine’ a fixed identity and who has players on his squad who have had a superlative level. The dutch Arnau Danjuma he is the team’s top scorer in the Champions League with 6 goals, followed by Gerard Moreno with 2. Likewise, Daniel Parejo He is another of the emblems with his 3 assists and his ability to organize the Castellón game.

Although the cast of Anfield Road will present itself with its entire squad available, the fate of the visitors will be different. Gerard Moreno he has a muscular problem and will be the only absence. In his position, Paco Alcácer could go as a starter to pair up with Danjuma in the attack.

The technician of the ‘reds’, the german Jurgen Klopprescued the possibility of reaching these instances. “Today we don’t have to talk about other competitions because our attention is focused on Villarreal and the semi-finals; It’s special, it’s crazy, a huge game. Many coaches and players work hard all their lives and do not have the opportunity to be close to this. We have to value it and enjoy ithe said at a press conference.

In the case of the Spanish DT, Unai Emerypraised his rival but he hopes to be up to the task despite not being a team that constantly fights for titles. “Liverpool are the big favorites because of their great moment and because of Klopp’s project. The surprise factor decreases. I see a Liverpool with an improved version. It is a team that has been characterized by running and they have gone on to find players for players to run. We want to be ourselves, we are here because we are and we want to continue being. We have our experienced, recognizable squad, with many international matches, we have mechanisms to competeassured.
